The stories are accounts from the personal experience of previous defendants in the Gilmer County legal system. The accounts are not facts researched or found and are guaranteed to be truth by the website owner, only information from interviews of those individuals who feel they were wronged by either the judgment of, process of or initial reason of prosecution.

Do you use our real names?

Individuals interviewed whose stories are told on the site are listed only by initials. Anonymity is key for our stories. If you request your name be included with your story, it will be included.

Why does this site exist?

I erected this site when I was caught up in the justice system erroneously but plead guilty to remain free. It is not a fair system when your voice matters, not because a jury automatically puts those in power before anything. I wanted all those treated unfairly to have a voice as well as myself. I am an advocate for those who have been done wrong.
